We are pleased to announce that Boost Reality has been accepted into the highest tier of the Google for Startups Program.

We have received a substantial financial boost of $100,000 USD in cloud credits to help us scale quickly. In addition, we are also receiving dedicated support and guidance from Google engineers to build the best product possible and being guided by expert mentors.

This milestone brings us closer to our vision of building an Augmented Reality (AR) platform where anyone can create, share, and discover AR experiences right on their mobile devices – no desktop or complex software is needed to create AR content, unlike other AR apps on the market.

We are also proud to be one of the few Australian startups successfully participating in this program. A unique challenge for Australian tech startups is to think globally from Day 1 as our home market is small. The scalability and performance of our tech products need to be consistent irrespective of geography.

We applied for the Google for Startups Program because we put a big emphasis on “punching above our weight”, and we wanted to amplify the excellent results we have already been achieving with Google Cloud Platform and Firebase. As a young and ambitious startup, we are always thinking critically of ways to outperform much larger companies with fewer resources, and a large part of that is choosing the right tech stack, frameworks, and partners.

We can say from experience that the Google Cloud Platform has provided a fantastic foundation for us, and we look forward to leveraging our closer partnership with Google to make our app Sentiful even better in 2022 and beyond!
